        			Saint-Gobain R233 is a highly modified skived PTFE film coated with a high temperature, pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive. The high-temperature resistance and anti-stick properties allow it to be used as a release surface. It is extremely durable and abrasion resistant as a result of patented modifications to the polymer during processing. It will not curl or wrinkle. It is long wearing and easy to apply. These tapes will not leave an adhesive residue when removed, resulting in less equipment down time. Applications: It is ideal for protecting extrusion and laminating equipment combines plastic extrusion coateing process, which combines plastic films with various substrates, most commonly paper. Plastics are extruded onto the substrates as it passes between a neoprene roller and a cooling roller. It is also used as a roller wrapping tape to protect the exposed ends of the neoprene roller from the molten plastic which is over-coated wider than the substrate.
