As a consequence I need a new pair of pads about twice a year. The original pads wear out and separate when you wash them. I decided to give these pads a try because I also find the original pads to be rather thin and when helmet light and camera are mounted a little extra cushion is most welcome.These arrived quickly and fit the helmet perfectly. You can reuse the original velcro patches but if those have started to come off or you simply want to go all new, there are some included with this kit. The material attaches to the velcro well and fit is just like the OEM pads. You will definitely need to readjust your straps a little because these pads are indeed thicker than the originals. They are, however, quite flexible and I found it easy to get that perfect fit for my Atmos again. After the first week of riding with the new pads I am convinced that this was a good decision. The helmet is more comfortable and the pads perform well and dry out quickly. Went to go put my helmet on and couldn't believe how uncomfortable the helmet was due to the old padding. I immediately started searching for pad replacements. The Atmos is a little dated and replacement pads are not easy to find. Rolled the dice on these guys and couldn't be happier. I wouldn't be concerned about the thicker padding making your helmet not fit properly. Plenty of give in the pads. I made little to no adjustments. Not sure how well they will hold up over time but at this price point it's a no brainer. I'll more than likely purchase a few more sets just to have them when needed.
