Product Description Widely used in Japanese cuisine, this short grain rice is subtle in flavour and has the classic stickiness that makes it perfect for rolling sushi. As well as sushi, it can be used in other delicious dishes, such as veggie rice bowls or as a base for seasoned tofu. We are committed to reducing single-use plastic - this product comes in 100% recyclable and plastic free packaging. Ingredients Short grain white sushi rice* *= certified organic ingredients Directions Serves 1: Rinse 60g of Biona sushi rice in a sieve until the water runs clear. Transfer into amedium saucepan and cover with 240ml water. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover and cook for 20 minutes. Rice should be tender and water should be absorbed. I followed the instructions perfectly but in the end it was so gloopy I had to throw it away and serve sashimi instead. Real shame as it’s the first time in a year we have been allowed to meet friends outside and my plan did not work. Perhaps it was me?
