Seems like it will keep it waterproof which isn't really necessary with the Samsung Galaxy. It's nice and slim fitting. Holds the phone tightly in place, no dirt or dust gets in and actually shows the nice blue Color of my phone. I don't use the fingerprint scanning so I can't speak to that. The only thing I don't like is that the charging port is very deep and my car charger will not fit to charge on the go.
