Review: A wonderful pen from Platinum - A wonderful pen from Platinum. Slightly bigger than the 3776 line but not overly large. Standard cigar shape with a nice Art-Deco style clip. The number 6 size nib writes smooth with a nice amount of feed back. The ink flow is good not overly wet but slightly dry. The medium nib is more like a medium fine for a Japanese nib, or closer to a western fine. The nib is a bit stiff, but you can get some line variation. On another note, for a pen of this size it would have been nice for an internal piston filling system of some sort. The converters hold a decent amount of ink but I find myself filling it often. All-in-All this is a great pen for the money. Review: Great pen - The 18K nib is very smooth. The lacquer on the material is well applied and the resin is very smooth. It is a great bargain at the closing out price offered by Platinum. ## Features - as resin - Cartridge Ink: spsq-400, spn-100a water-based dye ink - Product Specifications: Thick shaft, as resin body with gold plated ring cap - Total length 5.6 inches (142 mm) x maximum diameter 0.6 inches ( ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0047F9JM4 | | Additional Features | Refillable | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #248,438 in Office Products ( See Top 100 in Office Products ) #1,021 in Fountain Pens | | Body Shape | Round | | Brand | PLATINUM | | Brand Name | PLATINUM | | Closure Type | Click-Off Cap | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 44 Reviews | | Drill Point | Medium | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04977114104770 | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Included Components | γ‚«γƒΌγƒˆγƒͺγƒƒγ‚Έγ‚€γƒ³γ‚―οΌˆγƒ–γƒ«γƒΌγƒ–γƒ©γƒƒγ‚―οΌ‰, コンバーター-800A | | Ink Base | Water | | Ink Color | Black | | Item Diameter | 16 millimeters | | Item Dimensions | 7.17 x 2.68 x 1.26 inches | | Item Weight | 100 g | | Manufacturer | γƒ—γƒ©γƒγƒŠδΈ‡εΉ΄η† | | Material | Resin Metal | | Material Type | Resin Metal | | Model Name | PTB-20000P | | Model Number | PTB-20000P-1M | | Pattern | Single Item | | Recommended Uses For Product | Writing | | Style | Fountain Pen | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Writing Instrument Form | Fountain Pen | | Writing Technique | fountain pen | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** PLATINUM - **Color:** Black - **Ink Color:** Black - **Writing Instrument Form:** Fountain Pen ## Images ![Fountain Pen President #1 Black and Gold- PTB20000P-Nib: M - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61MpffWATwL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful pen from Platinum *by T***. on March 11, 2018* A wonderful pen from Platinum. It is a great bargain at the closing out price offered by Platinum. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Value *by D***. on December 30, 2023* Platinum retired this pen, so I was amazed I could still get it on Amazon. This used to be a flagship pen. I was amazed I could get it for just over $100 while the one they sell as it's replacement is about three times the price. It's a cartridge converter which means it's fairly easy to clean. It is a very nice writer. I'm glad I bought it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Platinum Fountain Pen President #1 Black and Gold- PTB20000P-Nib: M - Waterman Fountain Pen Ink Intense Black 50ml Bottle - Sailor Fountain Pen Converter, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/12033405-fountain-pen-president-1-black-and-gold-ptb20000p-nib-m](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/12033405-fountain-pen-president-1-black-and-gold-ptb20000p-nib-m) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
