I recently purchased and finished reading this 256 page soft cover volume (Quantum-Touch 2.0: The new human: discovering and becoming by Richard Gordan, the founder of Quantum-Touch, Chris Duffield, Ph.D. and Vickie Wickhorst, Ph.D.) and found it to be a fantastic book on some of the advanced techniques of using Quantum-Touch to heal yourself and others. I actually found the techniques in this book to be easier to apply than taught in Gordon’s previous book on Quantum-Touch. This book emphasizes that by using your love and heart chakra you can heal without even touching the person. This easy to read and understand book is organized into four parts. Part one (New Human operating system) covers: Let’s begin, discovering and becoming, resonance, life-force and Quantum-Touch. Part two (Basic healing apps) explains pain reduction, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia, organs, glands, and physiology, structural alignment-bones and ligaments and frequently asked questions. Part three (Unexpected human abilities) deals with working in the brain, auricular Quantum-Touch, performance enhancement, healing across space and time, doing multiple things simultaneously, working on many people at once, changing beliefs, visible magic, more frequently asked questions, and Quantum-Touch meditation. It's clear, easy to read, mind-provoking and it pushes back frontiers. It's comprehensive yet open. Not like: `every word conveys the final truth, period'. I like the playful style, leaving plenty of room for discovery and experimentation by the readers. Obviously I like the content: I love QT2. I loved it from day 1, when I attended Richard's workshop in New Jersey in 2010. For me as an instructor of QT1 & QT2 the book is very helpful. I will be able to improve and teach with even more confidence now that we have the book as a back-up. The students will be very pleased too. It was often among the first questions in QT workshops: "When will there be a book on QT2?" QT2 is clearly a work in progress. There are many apps in the book that we don't discuss in the workshops and some of the old exercises have been adapted or skipped. I see this as a step forward. I have studied the concept of energy healing for about fifteen years or so. I have read many books on the subject. I have been going thru a very crucial period in my own life for the last 13 months so I was really ready for this book and what it offers. I have used it for a little more than one day and already had some really fascinating results. I can barely put it down. I am sure I will continue to reread and explore. Thank you Richard. UPDATE: After using this with some pretty good success for awhile now, I have an opinion as to what may possibly be happening. The energy of the heart is a NOW moment. The pain, blockage, stiffness, etc. is stored in the body with a link to a past/future moment. If the body is really made of the NOW moment love energy, then linking a place where there is a confused signal back to its pure connection is like a reset. Much like rebooting a computer to refresh its function, re-establishing the harmony is like reminding a sore spot, "hey, you are not the painful confusion, but rather, you are this pure power...simple, yet profound, when one allows it. I understand the idea of running energy, but when applying it to myself, I kept tripping over the actions. To me, if we really are at our core this magical energy, then what am I doing the "sending part" for. However obscure, isn't the heart energy already there at the intended spot? So instead, when working with myself, I get as centered in the heart energy as I can and use the idea of a color, whatever surfaces at the moment, then I turn my focus to the intention and the place I perceive as blocked, etc. In observation, the sheer hint of color will appear there to as I send my love.
