I had no problem hefting it up into the car, but, especially if filled to max, I could see how some smaller folks might have a harder time (I'm 6 feet tall). So, if you can't lift 14 gallons of fluid by yourself, either don't fill it all the way, or take someone with you to help you. I have no problem using it, either. Loosen the air/vent valve, and open the two ball valves at the bottom (one for the tank, the other for the hose). As another reviewer said, it's easier if you lay it on its back to do this, then stand it up. Takes all of ten seconds. Simply reverse the process when you're done to get it ready to store. You might want to close the ball valves first, then finish pumping out whatever small amount might still be in the hose itself. You do have to actually pump the handle, which does require both hands, since you have to also hold in the little safety button. A bit annoying, but, hey, you're probably using this to fill up smaller engines like mowers and whatnot. You're probably not using it to fill your car or truck. So, you might have to switch hands while filling if you get tired. Since the gas gets pumped out in little batches, it might splash, rather than just smoothly pour, so you might want to be sure that the end of the spout is really inside the tank, or filling along the side or something, to minimize splash-back. Took only a second or two to see how to do it on my mowers. The wheels are not rubber or anything fancy like that. They're just plastic disks. But, I generally don't need to roll it more than just a few feet. I roll it just out of garage, pump it, then roll it the few feet back in. I was able to pour 15 gallons and pump 14 into my car. No leaks so far. This unit uses a gravity/siphon type system. I use it to transfer gasoline from the dock to a boat tank which is always located lower than the Duramax. The smell of gasoline can be overwhelming if you have it in your car. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality Tank, Very Easy to Handle. *by B***S on September 30, 2019* Nice, thick UHMW plastic tank. Quality fittings. I bought it because it has wheels and a filler hose. I'm getting old, and my 5 gal. tanks are a pain to carry and lift up to fill my mower. This caddy makes the chore much easier. To re-fill, I load the empty caddy into my pickup bed laying down and secure it with a bungee. I usually add only 12-13 gallons to keep it from splashing gas into my truck bed. The worst things are the hose nozzle and the wheels. The former seems a bit flimsy, but is very cheap to replace with a metal nozzle if it ever breaks. Who knows, it may last for years. The wheels are a bit small and thin, but work OK. However, the axle is 1/2" too short. To fully engage the nylock axle nuts on the wheels, they have to be rubbing the wheels, and that causes the wheels to skid instead of roll. My easy solution is to reverse the nylock nuts, screwing on the nylon side first. The tank weighs about 100# full, which is too heavy to lift up on a platform for gravity feed. So I popped the air vent out of the filler cap, and popped in a tubeless tire valve, removing the "guts". I pump it up with an empty garden sprayer pump (1-2 PSI) and it works great. I do not recommend doing this with any pump that creates more than 3-4 PSI, which the gasoline generates anyway. I recommend this tank, it sure is easy to roll from my mower shed to my pickup, and to load and unload using ramps. Good riddance to my pair of 5-gallon torture devices known as gasoline tanks. I highly recommend this 14 gal. rolling caddy/tank with filler hose. 4.5 stars out of 5! UPDATE: I got rid of the filler handle/valve. I just use the plain hose end, which I plug up with a stopper and clip on to the mower tank. A few quick pumps from my garden sprayer fills my 1.5 gal. mower tank lickety-split with no splash and no gas smell on my hands or clothing.
