I ended up at a number of on-line sites reading the description and reviews, but none of them made it clear that this can accommodate high ceilings. In my opinion, I’m sure that many people pass it by thinking the rigid rod is only 18”. In actuality, the manufacturer provides three different length rods. They can be mix and matched to get the perfect length. The light is just beautiful. I’m glad I took the gamble. Very happy with the purchase.
