When you put the sunglasses on, you can see the other side of the picture - that's how you know they are polarized. I had another 2 pr. of sunglasses & they didn't show the other 1/2 of the picture and 1 other pair I have showed the picture. I lost my favorite Maui Jims and MXNX fit the bill nicely. I hope not to lose the MXNX but if I do, I know where to buy a great pair of sunglasses, right here on Amazon at a very reasonable price.
