I had hoped it would be able to give me coverage with Verizon, but it didn't quite do the full job.Unfortunately, I don't have a window or something like that with good signal. My building just happens to be built in such a way that every direction there's a Verizon tower, the building is in the way.The antennae really has to be on the opposite side of the apartment for it to put out a signal, or it won't work (at full output). So I strung it out, put the "outside" antennae in the best place I could find reception (the coat closet that's closest to the inside of the building, yes I tried windows and such but they were worse not better for my location). The "inside" antennae I placed at the other end of the apartment, with a few closets and walls in between.I used the "Advanced Signal Status" app to look at the numbers I was getting. Putting my phone right next to the booster, I'd get around -60 with this configuration (I think the best is -55, on a scale that goes to -120 being the worst) on the voice band, and sometimes it would say I'd get lte and something it wouldn't. Lte never really worked though - even when it said it got signal, speed test would either fail or run with very very low speeds.I tested out it's ability to increase a signal - it did improve signal quality, but it didn't completely clear it up. Without the booster, I could make calls in my living room that would have some dropouts in the conversation, and if I went anywhere else the call would break up so badly it was unusable. With the booster on, I could make calls in my living room or anywhere else, but they would break up sometimes. An improvement? Yes, but not perfect and not good enough for me to stay with Verizon. I found out that TMobile actually works pretty well at my place (did the Test Drive), so I sent this back and am simply switching to TMobile. Also, did you know that voice quality on tmobile is also much better than on verizon?Bottom line is, if you live in an apartment and don't have a window or something that already gets good signal, this probably will not work for you. It will improve your service (if you can live with a wire running from one side of your apartment to the other) but not improve it to the point of being perfect. It's probably good if you have a window or location that does get excellent signal, or if you can actually mount the "outside" antennae outside and run a cable to inside.P.S. Also, while I needed to run cable across my entire apartment with both antennae's inside, when I experimented with the outside antennae being outside on my porch I could put the inside antennae inside directly on the other side of the wall and it wasn't a problem. So you don't need to worry about putting a lot of distance between them nearly as much if one of them is actually outside. This didn't work for me though, as I would have had to drill a hole in my apartments outside wall to get it through - landlord would likely have not been happy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It worked for me. Not much gain for the price *by J***K on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on August 22, 2014* Been giving it a trial run. Mounted outside antenna inside attic to see if it even worked and because of housing restrictions. It does work but not great boost. In fact, never saw any increase in signal strength on phone but I can now make calls and not get dropped. Can send text too. Works better than the Samsung network extender I bought that uses your internet connection. But costs twice as much. The network extender was frustrating. Not reliable at all. Many text messages would not go the first time. Then the receiver would get a bunch of copies of that text. So now that I can make a reliable call, I guess I will keep it. But had to do a lot of until tweaking on the gain to keep the lights green. So don't just set it and forget it. Had to go back half a dozen times to readjust gain. So is set down low to keep from getting red lights and a shutdown. Now I will invest in another panel antenna (or two) and a splitter. Because the inside antenna only covers about 1/3 of my 4000 sqft house. Also going to mount the antenna outside. It is low profile and I believe FCC says you have a right to mount an antenna even though neighborhood has restrictions. Like the satellite dish. My neighbors probably won't even notice it or care. It about the size of a football. Shipping was great. Good instructions. I would give 5 stars but unit is very expensive for the gain I am getting. I can get a signal upstairs. If you can't then don't waste your money. It can't amplify a signal that just isn't there. ### ⭐⭐⭐ I installed this and was able to get a good 4 bars of consistent LTE inside when previously I ... *by J***S on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on August 5, 2015* This will boost your signal but I found the coverage area to be too small for my application. I have a signal outside of 1-2 bars LTE. I installed this and was able to get a good 4 bars of consistent LTE inside when previously I would go between 1-2 bars LTE and dropping out and switching to straight 4G (non-LTE). The problem is that the coverage area for the improved signal was really about the size of a 10-15 ft square radiating downwards from my top floor where I had the antenna installed on the ceiling. I would get the same signal on both floors, but just in that one area. You can purchase additional antennas to extend the range throughout the house but this is added cost and more coaxial wire to run through the walls/ceiling. If you have a strong signal outside, you may have a larger footprint in the house than I did.
