Since I got this with a gift voucher I can't really complain about the price. Matcha is known for being expensive - and this is sourced from Kyoto, which means its ceremonial grade, so the price is understandable. I was impressed from the get-go. Arrived quickly, packaged nicely in an air-tight container and the colour is a vibrant green I've never seen before. The taste is palatable. I find the best way to use this is to add 1/2-1 tsp in to a smoothie (I blend it with tropical fruit and coconut milk) and it makes a lovely green colour. The taste is subtle when blended with fruit, but the affects are still there. In fact, 1/2 tsp is more than enough for me (if you're sensitive to caffeine like me go easy on this stuff) as I find that a dosage slightly over can be the difference between a good high and just feeling like crap. I prefer to drink this later in the day on a full stomach as it can be quite harsh in the mornings.
