There is a reason is thing has 5 stars.I will start off with say that I bought this little NUC because I needed a separate development machine for programming. Graphics are not important items to me but I will address that later.What I specced the machine out toIntel I3 @ 1.7ghz8gb Patriot Ram 1600mhzPatriot 240gb SSDTwo Samsung BX2331 monitorsSpeed:This little board performs well. For normal desktop oriented tasks and programming. The only way I think people will notice slowness outside of actual benchmarks is by being exposed to faster computers. Since this is a secondary workstation I have a more powerful I7 Desktop machine. I can tell the slowness from time to time but only when I am really bogging this down.I reality I think it would be more fair to compare this little NUC to my Intel I7 laptop, with 8gb ram and 1 terabyte hard drive. This NUC absolutely smokes it. I think it has a lot to do with the SSD though. which makes me want to upgrade the drives on my laptop.Graphics:It has Intel HD 4400 graphics. It will perform well on normal desktop apps. Lightweight games will run well. I didn't try any heavyweight titles but I wouldn't expect them to work well.Summary:These items are discontinued by the manufacturer. Get them while you can. This little NUC will provide outstating performance as long as you give it plenty of ram and a SSD is a requirement.I will more than little buy another.I bought this case to house the board. So first off i love this little board for the money this is a darn good alternative to getting an upboard. Get this and have the other parts in your parts been your set. If you have to buy the other parts you are going to be looking at a high price but you will have a better board overall. I was using this board to run a minecraft spigot server on. I hadnt had any mods installed yet to optimize it or anything. I loved the speed and ability of this little thing. Well while playing with it and trying to fix my partitions it had issues. well after contacting the seller and working with them they helped me out greatly. If I need something like this in the future i will be buying off of them again for sure. would recommend anyone that wants a powerful windows/linux board this is what you are looking for. I found this when i was looking for boards that was close to the power of the upsquard board and this thing is just a little slower than it but this costs about 2/3rds less than the upsquared and you dont have to deal with EMMC Storage or Ram.

I'm using this motherboard for an HTPC build. It has worked flawlessly out of the box. I'm running Windows 7 (because of Media Center) and I have had no problems. Installed Windows 7 using an external DVD drive. I've read some problems with Windows 7 and USB 3.0. There is a USB 2.0 header on the motherboard if you have a USB 2.0 port to attach. The Morex case I used had a USB 2.0 port and SD card reader included.

Owned same unit with case. This works the same only for cheaper. If you have a 3D printer, print your own case and go!

Fantastic capable i3 motherboard. Board comes with a tiny fan that is almost silent.
