I don't feel comfortable writing my actual thoughts down in a journal because I'm a people pleaser. I write like someone is reading it. This locking journal is really helping me get past that fear. The lock is sturdy so far. It doesn't feel flimsy. I like the pen holder and ribbon as a bookmark. I love the leaf design on the outside. I also love the padded cover. It just feels nice when I carry it around the house (keeping it constantly around so I feel okay writing a sentence or two in a moment). I also love the place at the top to mark the date and the day of the week.
