Installation wasn’t bad. I had to adjust the fork to align properly with the handle bars, install handle bars, front wheel, seat, and brake handles. I ordered the black/gold bike. The wheels were gold, but the seat post and handle bars were black, not gold like the picture. I actually like it better this way, so I did not inform them of the mistake. Also, they included a rear brake! All the reviews and descriptions say there’s no rear brake. The only problem now is that I’m trying to cancel the rear brake set that I ordered from the Pure Cycle website, but can’t get a hold of anyone. The order hasn’t shipped yet. Over all this bike is awesome. My first bike purchase in 10 years. I’m only 33, so my older bikes were always cheaper Walmart/target bikes from when I was a kid. This bike rides great. I’m 5’5” and ordered the 50cm Small. With the post all the way down, it’s perfect for me. It’s light weight and they even included a small bottle of touch up paint for the matte black color. The front breaks weren’t connected properly, so I just removed it for the time being instead of installing it. I haven’t had a chance to fix it yet. Definitely recommend the bike. It also came with a chain guard/cover that is clear and scuffed. Maybe I’ll spray paint it matte black and install it in the future. The reason it’s 4 stars instead of 5 is because the color of the handle bars and seat post wasn’t what I had ordered. My seat is low anyway so you can’t see the color. Also because the front brake cable wasn’t connected properly. No tools were included, so make sure you have a set of wrenches and Allen keys (hex) of different sizes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome bike at an awesome price! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 15, 2016* I absolutely love this bike! I am 4'11", and got the 43cm x-ray, fits me perfect. XXS/43cm/micro comes with both front AND rear brakes, other sizes is equipped with front brake only. Packaging was a little disappointing, there were a few minor scratches on the wheel, from parts rubbing together during shipping I presume, hence the 4 stars. Bike was mostly assembled, I just had to attach handle, saddle, pedals, wheels, and make adjustment to the brakes.Update 8/27/2016 I love love love my pure fix! I've been riding it for over a month now, and am surprised at how fast it can go, considering it's a single speed! I'm able to keep up with traffic on busy city streets. Uphill is a breeze as well. The scratches don't bother me anymore, they're barely noticeable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Assembled in minutes and rides like a dream. Be aware that it DOES NOT come with tools for assembly so be prepared. Allen keys, wrenches, and a PRESTA pump lying around will speed things up.I assembled the bike in a matter of minutes and was on the road testing it out. So far the Hi-ten steel frame though heavy, carries a lot of momentum when it rolls. The brakes bite nice enough and the Thickslick tires does their thing gripping road of different grades. The seat though was super uncomfortable and switched it out immediately - the hard leather saddle was heavy and offered zero support.For the price and convenience, this bike does the trick.
