It fit well. Glad we didn't order a larger size as some suggested. The large was a USA large. The embroidery lines up exactly as it should and the fabric is sturdy for it's fiber content. Several reviewers stated it was too thin and one could see through it, but these shirts are traditionally worn with an undershirt in Cuba. My spouse had notissues with that. There were several short threads that needed clipping, but not a big deal with so many threads used to do the embellishments. Before wearing we washed it on gentle and hung it to dry. It did not "wrinkle", but due to so much stitching an iron touch-up would make it look perfect. It has a more casual look without a touch-up. Laying it flat to dry and "finger pressing" as it dried might improve certain areas. It is common for this many sections of stitching to slightly shrink or stretch in spots, but it is no big deal. The fabric is not as soft as I hoped, but a wash might take care of that. Fabric is also very thin. Not a linen like fabric like his other guayI'm hesitant to wash it though - as it arrived with lots and lots of loose threads. Oddly, the loose threads weren't just in the blue and white colors of the shirt, but there were many random black threads that were probably picked up from the throat of the sewing machine.
