It not only saved my life - but gave me a glorious life. Every battle I go through as a Christian, I come back to it time and time again. I have prayed the prayers so many times I have them memorized by now, and therefore, often pray them over other women. I also have probably put Stormie's children through college because of how many copies I have purchased for girlfriends. Teehee! It has single handedly also either changed or saved their lives. I agree with another reviewer, make sure to check that you are not ordering just the book of prayers or the study guide; as the original book is the BEST. Packed full of wisdom. So much wisdom, in fact, that it will help you as a baby Christian and/or speak to you completely differently as a mature, spiritual warrior Christian. I just can't say enough about Stormie and her books. I want her to read this so that she knows what an impact this book has/had on my life. She gets right to the point. Basic stuff as well, like singing praises to the Lord. Singing a favorite song so much that it plays in your head like a tape recorder, or lifting your hands in prayer. I was never comfortable with that aspect but did not realize the Lord commands it. Psalm 134:2. Dance and play instruments before the Lord, not sultry dancing but dancing for the pure joy in order to praise the LORD. Her book lists 7 signs of a desirable friendship and 7 signs for undesirable friendship. Plus so much more. If you want a better walk with the LORD, then read this book. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This's the best book I have ever read. Transformational! *by L***. on Reviewed in the United States on September 23, 2017* This is the second time Im reading this book. I read it for the first time in another language about 9 years ago. It was then and 9 years later it still is the best book I have ever read. The best word to summarize my experience with it is transformational! Im holding the urge of reading more than one chapter per day because I want to be able to absorb and digest it fully piece by piece. As each day is going by I'm experiencing more and more peace and joy in my life. Im about half way into the book and im not following the chapters sequence but I'm picking whatever chapter I feel the need for that particular day. Although only half way into it, this journey has already been incredible. Through this book and praying time, God is revealing to me my own self (fears, insecurities...) and all the important things I have to lay down to Him for Him to move forward with the great plan He has for my future. I know that I know that He will entrust me with big dreams. But, I now also know that I am where I'm supposed to be at this season of my life as He is working in me to get me ready for it. And this book was a very important tool in this process of talking more and hearing more from God. That's what praying time gives us.
