Review: Compared to factory these sound amazing. - Vehicle: 2000 Chevy Silverado single cab. The included plastic mounting frame is thicker than the metal factory fame so the factory cover that clips into the metal pillar was hard to seat. Nothing a hammer couldn't handle. I used a heat gun to peal or pry parts off the factory speakers. The foam from the back of the factory speakers was reused since no foam was included. These speakers can be mounted without reusung parts by drilling holes but I still would use the foam. I had to trim the tab on the speakers that hold the speaker harness female plug (HSTECH 72-4568) for it to fit. I'll need foam to seal the front of the speakers so sound doesn't leak behind the trim since the factory foam was deteriorated and none was included. They sound much louder and better than the factory paper speakers with the factory head unit.. I can't wait to replace the fronts. I feel that the price is fair for what you get. The fronts I ordered came with some thin foam but cost 4x as much.

Aren’t the best at it’s price their are better options but great for this size speaker because it’s such an odd size if you’re not wanting a crazy sound system and want it to be clear definitely would recommend this Didn’t hear much distortion the performance was decent
