Review: Great quality and value for the money! - I purchased these saddle blanks to make a new saddle for one of my guitars. These are a whole lot cheaper in price compared to purchasing blanks from some of the other major retailers online. The quality of these saddle blanks are great and the size is perfect for what I needed. I can't really tell that it made a difference with the sound of my guitar, but that being said, I know these will last a lifetime compared to the cheap plastic that guitar companies install on their guitars. Oh yeah, one added feature that I like is that they included 2 pieces of emory cloth for polishing the saddle after I got it shaped the way I needed it to be. That prevented me from making an extra purchase.

**Q: Does this really work ?**
A: What do you mean by "work"?  These are solid, well cut, rectangular blanks that you file and cut to make guitar nuts.

**Q: How thick are the acoustic bone saddle blanks ? 
I have to make one that was originally near 3/16 thick at
the base - Thank You**
A: The description said 3mm, so not big enough for 3/16, if my math is good.

**Q: What is the grit on the sandpaper? (One says 2000, but the courser one has the print cutoff. )**
A: I ordered the 3 nut / 3 saddle set and it came with 2 sheets of sandpaper (4.5" x 5.5").  One is labeled as 2000 but the other doesn't say (they were cut from larger sheets), it's a little coarser.  So maybe 1000 or as coarse as 600.

**Q: My order consisted of 3 blanks that were less than 3mm ( 2.94, 2.89, 2.84)  WHY undersize?????**
A: The ones that are ybiner are for the saddle and the thicker ones are for the nuts
