Review: Unscented all-purpose cleaner is amazing! - I love this stuff - I can’t believe how great it is for the price. I was looking for a simple, unscented, non-toxic all-purpose cleaner that could be used to remove soil from all my hard surfaces without any damage, and which wouldn’t require any mixing or diluting. I have a newborn baby, sensitive skin, and a spouse who is sensitive to fragrance, so we needed something gentle and fragrance-free. We used to use Seventh Generation antibacterial cleaner on everything, but with the shortages due to COVID and a new baby in the house, we want to reserve that product for disinfecting only, and use a gentler cleaner for everyday soil/messes instead. My local stores were out of everything unscented, so I decided to try ordering this online, and it definitely fits the bill. It doesn’t leave residue behind, and you can use a little bit just to wipe down counters and stuff, or spray a little more and let it sit before wiping to remove bigger messes. I don’t detect any smell at all from the unscented cleaner. The spray mechanism also works well - very comfortable to use, feels sturdy, and doesn’t make a mess or leak. The product was also packaged really well, so there were no leaks during shipping, and there was no damage done to the spray mechanism (which is an issue I’ve had with other brands’ spray bottles). This is important, because I ordered the 2-pack, and you get one spray nozzle for both bottles. It’s nice to have less plastic to recycle/discard, but will only work if the spray nozzle is sturdy enough to last through both bottles. We’re about halfway through the first bottle, and it’s still going strong. I also can’t believe how much you get for the price (I paid about $12 for 64 oz, and would definitely be willing to pay more of it gets marked up in the future). My local stores only carry this brand’s scented products, so I’m very glad I can find the unscented cleaner on desertcart for such a good price, and that it arrived without getting damaged or leaking in transit. We’ll definitely repurchase.

**Q: Does this kill bacteria and germs?**
A: Yes!  I discovered this product after watching the episode on shark tank where it took bacteria from chicken and cleaned it better than Lysol.

**Q: everyone talks about how good this products cleans,but what about the smell. I need an absolute odor free product**
A: It doesn't have a perfume smell. It has a light smell that is closer to Method's fragrance-free hand soap. It just smells clean. I get asthma attacks and allergic reactions to fragrances and this doesn't trigger it. What little smell it has dissipated quickly. Give it a try by buying a single bottle to see if it works for you. Everyone's sensitivity is different. The light smell may be fine for some of us but not others.

**Q: How does it do on concrete, hardwood and large cermaic tile floors? Also had a leak and have fine mildew spots on all surfaces from ceiling down..??**
A: This is more for sanitizing surfaces and cleaning up spills. While I have used it for bathroom cleaning and preventing mold/mildew, I wouldn't recommend it for your question. If you are looking for a natural type cleaner Better Life brand does make a tub and tile cleaner which I used moving into a rental that had mold/mildew in the bathroom. I also used Method brand all purpose wipes on the ceiling for the water drop spots where mold was happening. Our bathroom has a window but no vent so it gets very steamy and wet after a shower and we moved into a moldy space. It took a good bit of scrubbing but it all came out, no chemical burns on skin, no coughing from fumes and the smell wasn't bad. Upkeep is very easy too. I have asthma and so when people would use stuff like Lysol, Windex or other heavy cleaners around me I would have to sit outside. Here though I don't have a problem anymore. Better Life brand also makes a daily shower spray which we use every day after showering to prevent mold. All of the products between Better Life, Method, Mrs Meyers and a few other sustainable companies all make this house built in the 1920s sparkle. Mildew/mold GONE!

**Q: According to ewg this cleaner contains methylisothiazolinone. is that right?**
A: 3/01/ 2022 Unknown as the ingredient list is incredibly vague.
Current ingredient list from the product page is as follows:

"Purified water, coconut surfactant, vegetable-based surfactant, pure essential oils of clary sage and lemon, preservative"

There is a good chance the mysterious 'preservative' is indeed methylisothiazolinone if it was listed in the past, plus other products of theirs (like their floor cleaner) do contain it unfortunately. I was hoping maybe some of their products were worth buying but unfortunately it seems like they are all greenwashed. :(

This is my favorite all purpose cleaner. It works for everything, including the shower and glass shower doors. It does not leave streaks. I love that it doesn't have a strong smell and cleans so well. It is healthier than some of the traditional cleaners sold at the stores. I've purchased for a few years and never had an issue with a sprayer breaking or not working. This is a high quality product!
