They are nice and thick and you get a nice firm grip on big items. It also cushions a light knock. It’s a bit more challenging when you want to pick up screws and small nuts but that is due to the thicker texture of the gloves. I haven’t needed to wash or clean them and so far they didn’t get my hands wet from a bit of rain. The only reason it lost a star is because you have to take the gloves off to operate your phone.
