Review: Fast, durable, and awesome. And so easy! - I bought two of these 14 years ago. The second one has never left its packaging, because the first one is still going strong. Yes, really. I've used it at work often. People are amazed by it. "That's a thing?!" So much better than frozen dinners, and so fast. You definitely will want to have a hand towel or silicone pot holder handy, as it's hot enough to burn when it's done cooking. (Though why you'd give a low review score for that, I have no idea. OF COURSE IT'S GOING TO BE HOT!) It works very well when straining and the plastic is substantial. I've cooked a wide variety of pasta in it, including boxed pasta and fresh pasta. It always turns out really well. Can't beat it, and it's so inexpensive!

Does not take less time to cook, but no pots/pans, no watching. Strainer is built into lid. Very easy.

**Q: I would like to know if your product is BPA free plastic..FDA approved and if its made in the USA?**
A: On the back of the container it says ”made in the USA” and ”BPA free”

**Q: Is the cooking process the same if I'm cooking fettuccine, macaroni, or other types of noodles?**
A: It's the same, but there's a pasta cooking chart that comes with it....tells serving size, water level, and cooking time.  It's for many types of pasta, spaghetti, linguini, fettuccini, lasagne, macaroni, shell pasta, egg noodles.   I like this pasta cooker, unless I'm cooking a very large amount.

**Q: can't find instructions. how much water and how long for spagetti?**
A: Use the lid to measure the amount of spagetti. For one portion use water level 1 and cook for 12/13 minutes.

**Q: does this cook rice?**
A: Cooking chart shows you can make rice.. white rice 1 cup and water to level 2 x 17 minutes. Not sure about a bigger batch.

I am so glad I saw this on one of my feeds. I love pasta but hate to drag out the big pot and wait 10 minutes for the water to boil and then for the amount of time it takes the pasta to cook...and then having to keep an eye on it so it doesn't boil over (yes, butter on the rim and wooden spoon help) and keep stirring and checking to see if it's done. Now it's fool proof with no mess! Just use the lid to measure serving/s add the water and set the time according to chart provided, microwave, strain using lid provided, add water to rinse, strain again, and perfect pasta! Plus no strainer to clean! Wash and dry in 2 seconds and you're done!!! This might be the go to Christmas present this year!!!🎄🎁
