It was well written and EASY to understand.I downloaded the Kindle version and read it in a few short hours. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience Dr. Purser in health, Tina, Gracie & Cookie ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ What’s the use of getting cheap lab work done if it doesn’t/can’t address the root problem? *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2019* This book focuses a lot on a lab called “Spectracell”. I’ve heard Dr Purser talk about this lab, and am interested in trying it. I’m due for lab work with the ND I’ve been seeing, however my gut says this lab will be much more efficient. It tests the vitamin levels within the actual cell, rather than just looking at blood serum levels. I knew something was wrong with the “regular” lab work when I had an abnormally high B12 level result in the past, yet was presenting with symptoms of severe deficiency. My intuition told me that it was actually only “high” because the B12 wasn’t being absorbed by my cells. So, in essence, it was just floating around in my cells. The N.D. I was seeing at the time told me that I was eating too many foods high in B vitamins. None of what they told me made sense. This makes sense. While it is pretty costly (normally ~$650, but on sale right now for $500), most lab work without insurance coverage is. And what’s the use of getting cheap lab work done if it doesn’t address the root problem?Like he says, it’s not usually the doctor’s fault. They’re just doing the best they can given their education and various constraints. I appreciate that he can see that. He is a funny guy to talk to (I’ve had a couple of phone consults with him before). He wants to help. He is not perfect. Take from him what you can, and listen to your intuition.
