    Amazon's Conversation Piece Jug

This is a well-detailed jug that sits nicely on its base and it definitely evokes a lot of conversation at the table.  That said, it is used as a water jug at my house in Florida (alligator = Florida) and we've found that although its size is categorized as an "extra large, there is not a great deal of capacity so you must refill the jug constantly.  It does gurgle when pouring liquid but you must also be mindful of the wide mouth on the jug/alligator as spills can occur.  If you are an adventurous soul, I suppose you could use the jug as a nifty and unique flower vase.  Otherwise, it does serve water in a limited capacity and it is admired for its unique design.  On the whole, I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this jug.
