Such was the case after 4 months of use. [Update (2014 December)] Rather than search for a different set of headphones, out of laziness I reordered this and...found the cord-plug issue was changed / fixed. It's now a highly flexible rectangular cord that goes into the plug, unlike the thick round cable from the first pair whose plug went defunct after 4 months, which is perfect for it in phone-in-jacket-pocket. Also, this version is not as tight on the ears or head, and the sound...sounds better. So, awesome. :) 5 stars to the newest version, well worth the price. (y) Review: Not the best fit. - They work alright, but they don't swivel left/right (only up/down) so they don't really lay comfortably over my ears - as my head isn't cube - shaped. They're sort of raised away from the ears towards the front.
