My chairs are taupe in color and I had wanted white chairs but couldn't find any at the time. The covers would also serve to protect them. The set arrived on time, but it looked like it had been repackaged. It had no instructions on how to care for the product, but I followed normal instructions per my washing machine. I have included a pic for reference. They look nice, but as I put the first one on it tore at the top. I was able to put a needle and thread to it, but now I have to wonder what will happen when I need to wash them again. I would not buy them again, but have another set I bought for 2 other chairs in my home that I think would fair better. They're a snug fit but they're not overly tight(so that a seam might rip). I washed them in Cold water after a dry fit due to a review which stated the red stained existing cushions & I was anxious re: same issue onto clothing. The midsize elastic band guarantees they'll stay put. The material is thin, you will see the silhouette of your chair back - if that's a deal breaker don't order these. That wasn't a deal breaker for me. Good value for 4 covers & quality will allow me to buy another set in a different color if I want. I bought the print cover (upper left in pic) last yr on Amazon.
