I have played games like final fantasy 7 original, to games like dark souls 1 and even peppa pig games. I know games very well, beaten likely hundreds of different AAA and indie games, and 100%ed many games like sekiro. But hollow knight is not quite anything I’ve played before. I have played 2d games, and metroidvanias, but this game is just something else. If I were to describe it as basic as possible, I’d say it’s a mix of dark souls and a metroidvania. And the dark souls games are some of the best games I’ve ever played. I definitely recommend this game. I know it can be hard to get into at the beginning, but it’s so worth it. It’s like red dead redemption two, just get through the snow level and you’ll find something great that will change your view on games forever. -and by the way, play hollow knight: Silksong after this one, they both are fantastic. I 100%ed silksong too just so you know I know what I’m talking about. But I’ll warn you now, Silksong is much harder than hollow knight.
