Measures 197mm in length, lug-to-lug, clasp closed. *by T***O on Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2020* Before more details about the size/length of this bracelet, let me say it is a very-high-quality build. Further, it is an exact "inspiration" (ie, copy) of a Staib 1192 bracelet (except this one is longer than the longest Staib 1192). Staib is a German designer of upscale Milanese mesh bracelets & jewelry that has been in business for almost a century. The street price for a Staib bracelet like this is in the $175 range. So the buyer is getting a lot of watch bracelet here … at a bargain price.SIZE/LENGTHOk, 197mm equates to 7.5". And that matches up very closely with the description listed here of 195mm. So the length should not be a surprise to the buyer. For a gentlemen's metal butterfly-clasp bracelet such as this, this length would be called an "Extra Long" by most. "Standard" length for this type of bracelet would be in the range of 150mm-180mm, depending on the maker. Staib would definitely call it an "Extra Long," as their "Long" is 170mm. Further, I am replacing another band that looks just like this one, bought elsewhere … and that band measures 184mm.But you can't really go by descriptions such as "standard" or "long" or "extra long" anyway, since such terms do vary a good bit from one maker to the next. You always have to do the math to ensure a good fit.Measure your wrist by tying some twine (or even dental floss) around your wrist to comfort, then snip it and measure it. Next measure the length of the watch, lug-to-lug. For a metal butterfly-clasp bracelet such as this, you just subtract the watch length from your wrist measurement. The result is your ideal bracelet length. (With leather bands, you would need to further account, for where you want the buckle to meet the holes.)This bracelet has eight links that can be removed, four on each side of the butterfly clasp. Each link is 5mm. Again, you just have to do the math. Accordingly, with all eight links removed this bracelet will be 157mm or about 6.25". Take out enough links and this bracelet will likely fit all but the smallest wrists+watches.VERY-HIGH-QUALITY BUILDThis is a very high-quality watch bracelet, given the price. Heavy, solid construction. Glossy solid stainless steel. The mesh is straight and sits flush on the wrist. And it looks very sharp when married to the right kind of dress watch.It is mis-described here as "shark mesh." It is actually "Milanese mesh." "Shark mesh is a much larger gauge of mesh.It was entirely plastic-shrink-wrapped to protect its finish until installation (in the same way that a Steib is shipped). And that placed inside a sealed thick plastic pouch. And that inside a gift box.It also came with 4 quick-release spring bars to attach the bracelet to the watch. (You only need 2, so you have 2 extras). These are the newest style of spring bars; they have a 'knob' on one end; you just pull down on the knob and it brings that end of the pin down and the entire pin just releases. This bracelet is built to accommodate this style of pin, with a long slot in it on one side where you can fully pull the knob down. A LOT of watch bracelet are not built to accommodate this type of spring pin, so it's an exemplar of thoughtful detail.Also provided is a small tool to manipulate dual-flange type spring bars. The maker also thought to include a 'bracelet link pin pusher tool' to assist in removing or reinstalling links. It works sort of like a little vise that grips the bracelet in place while you use it to poke out the pin that holds it in place. These two tools are NOT usually included in the sale of a watch bracelet. I actually already owned these two tools. And together I paid about $8 for them. So about $10 of extras included here, counting the extra two spring bars. Sweet.The only downside, so far, is that the links have taken on some small scuffs rather quickly, but they can only be seen when the light hits the links directly. Given that ... and that those links face downward ... the scuffs will likely never be plain to any observer. This shortcoming is my one-star ding.As long as you measure your wrist+watch for fit … again, you are getting a lot of value here for your money. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Only for bigger wrists *by J***3 on Reviewed in the United States on June 8, 2019* I have a 6.75 inch wrist, and this bracelet is too big for me on a 38mm Junghans Max Bill watch even after removing all the links. It's also highly polished on the outside side, so be prepared for quite a bingly look. That said, if you have wrist over 7" / 7.25 and you want the polished look, the mesh itself is thick, smooth and well done and for the price, and the butterfly clasp is decent, and it has the quick release pins. It also comes with a tool for removing the extra links, a spring bar tool, and an extra set of QR pins, so a pretty decent value. ### ⭐⭐ Looks nice but you need a bigger wrist then they claim *by P***W on Reviewed in the United States on November 14, 2019* I have a lot of watches, I size my own, have quite a bit of experience with the bands/bracelets of many makes from cheapcopycat watches to nice omegas and breitlings, I have adjusted many a band. This band cannot be made for a wrist smaller then 7-1/2".
