I planted them on Monday and within 2 days they has started to sprout. It has been 6 day and the plants are getting ready to have their first set of true leaves. I purchased my Aerogarden the first year they came out and have planted Basil in it every fall. This is the fastest the plants have ever sprouted. The basil has not gotten big enough to taste the quality yet. I will up date my review when I know how strong the Basil is. My first impression is this is the highest quality of seed I could find on Amazon.Update- today is 2 weeks since I planted the basil. I have included a photo. I tasted the basil for the first time today and am so happy. I has a strong and very pleasant flavor. I will be harvesting some leaves for the first time this weekend to make pizza. The leaves are smaller than typical store bought Basil and overall the plants are not growing as large as previous standard Basil I've grown in the past. Not fully sure if this is an expected characteristic of this version or if the growing conditions are the cause. It's also a thicker leaf than standard store bought version.
