## Description

These gem Pieces are shaped using the Round Brilliant Cut. This design was developed by Marcel Tsiolkovsky, an engineer from a family of diamond cutters. Tsiolkovsky mathematically calculated the properties of light and how it reflects and refracts within a diamond. This is also known as the American Standard Cut and is the common cut design in North America. All of the gems we carry are shaped using this cutting method. This cutting method maximizes scintillation of light as it passes through each gem. This gives it a mystifying sparkle and brilliant shine. Each piece is carefully hand cut and polished to bring out the gems potential as rays of light pass through it. Our gems are very eye catching and have an attractive appeal. These gem pieces can be displayed in the home or office. These collectable gems add color to any room and brighten up your living space. They can also be used as centerpieces for special events and ceremonies. Gives these to your guests as party favors! Well packaged in bubble wrap, no flaws, and very shiny!

I use this as a visual aid for the 'Diamond Profiling Competency' framework in personality profiling workshops. Okay, you've got me: I probably use the framework to introduce profiling tools (i.e. DiSC, Meyers Briggs) because I like having a gigantic diamond as a prop so much. It's sparkly! It came well-packaged in bubble-wrap in a box, with no scratches or flaws. I threw in a cloth and keep it in the same box for presentations.I would like to get a bigger one, but for now, this one seems have the best cost/size ratio I could find on Amazon, and it has worked well for groups of 19-25 in higher education.

My daughter wanted a "fist sized diamond" for christmas and this item did the trick! Sparkly and is bigger than my fist. What girl doesn't want a bigger diamond than the one she asks for???
