This is stated directly in the directions. The packaging also only claimed removable. The description on Amazon reads "Removable and reapplicable, durable, matte black wall decals". This also came in a different package design. So the overall package Dimensions listed are off. All that being said, they are adorable & look durable. Yes, I would have Preferred reapplicable. However, they will work for what I need & for me, it is not worth the hassle of returning them. Regarding comments by others about actual decal size.
