**Q: is this picture showing the back side of them?  Is this a solid surface for the dog?**
A: This is not the backside. It is not a solid surface.  It has a grid pattern that has ¾"L x ¾"W openings

**Q: How thick is the product?  1/2" thick?**
A: Yes, about 1/2" Or a hair less.It seems pretty durable. My only problem is its not raised so that stuff can go under it. Dog food stays in the squares, so it must be lifted to clean under it.

**Q: It says the 2' x 4' sheets can be cut to fit most applications- if cut, how do they still interlock? Also, are there two (2) 2' x 4' sheets included?**
A: I have not bought this yet but did Race Deck flooring in my garage which is 12x12". You just cut the outside edges where needed never the edges that connect. just trim the outside edges if needed that do not connect anyway.

**Q: Are these strong enough to stand on if I were to use them as flooring for a roof rack?**
A: These are not designed to be used as a roof rack to walk on. I would not recommend that you use it in that copacity.
