We thought we would just start carrying our own straws because we don't like how paper straws break down so easily. Most of the other travel or foldable straws we saw on Amazon were as expensive as this set and came with only two straws total, whereas this set came with 10 total straws. So I mainly purchased based on cost. They seem to be a pretty good value in comparison to other listings.Just to make clear exactly what you get in this set because I was a little confused at first - this set includes:2 foldable\travel straws. One black and one pink. Each in a case that includes a bendable cleaning rod.4 straight metal straws4 bent metal staws2 brush cleaners1 carrying bagI've only had these a couple of days. What can I say? They are straws. I wasn't sure if they would function as well as plastic, but they seem just fine. Overall, I'd say they are at least as good as plastic.
