## Description

Experience Feyre Archeron's journey all over again with the beautiful collector's edition of A Court of Thorns and Roses, the seductive first book in the #1 bestselling series by Sarah J. Maas. When nineteen-year-old Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin-one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world. As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow over the faerie lands is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it or doom Tamlin-and his world-forever. All the magic of Feyre's epic journey and romance is reflected in this enchanting, collectible edition of A Court of Thorns and Roses , which comes complete with a cloth slipcase featuring unique foil art on the case and book cover, ribbon pull, brand-new interior page designs, metallic endpapers, and a newly illustrated map.

Review: I love this book so much! - What did I just read? The escapism this book has is unreal. It’s fun, romantic, scary, very carefully thought out, intriguing characters, and more. I never binged read a book before and I savored every page. Coming from reading mostly thrillers and horror this was a nice change of pace. I looked forward to bedtime every night so I can read my book. When I heard this book was about fairies I thought this isn’t for me. But I really needed a new book and read some of reviews. Literally a masterpiece. I couldn’t put this book down. Ferye is one of my favorite book characters as well as Tamilin who receives much hate that I don’t understand. I wish this book series had more merchandise and a movie or tv series which would probably fantastic. If you’re looking for a book to escape just like watching Bridgerton on Netflix then this one is for you. Once your done reading your going to want to read the second, third, fourth and fifth book. I honestly can’t wait to read the second book. I was a bit disappointed how long desertcart is taking to ship the second book to me because I need to know what’s going to happen next. I feel the author really needs a pat on the back for taking her time and putting out a book where people can escape to even if it’s for an hour or two. Sarah Maas take all of my money you’re a genius! Please buy it and you will not be disappointed.
Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Okay, I finally read A Court of Thorns and Roses and I completely understand why everyone loves this series! It took me a little while to get into at first, but once I was hooked, I seriously could not put it down. Feyre is such a strong and determined character. I loved watching her grow throughout the book and seeing how much she was willing to sacrifice for the people she cared about. She definitely isn't perfect, but that's what made her feel so real to me. And Tamlin... I have SO many feelings about him 😂. The whole relationship and the world of Prythian had me completely invested. I loved discovering all the different courts, creatures, and secrets along the way. The atmosphere of this book was everything—beautiful, mysterious, magical, and sometimes terrifying. But that ending?! The last part of the book completely pulled me in. The action, the twists, and everything Feyre had to go through had me sitting there like, WHAT IS HAPPENING?! I was definitely not expecting some of the things that happened. I'm so glad I finally picked this series up because I already know I'm going to be thinking about these characters for a long time. And after that ending, there's no way I'm stopping here. I NEED to know what happens next! Definitely a slow start for me, but once it picked up, I was completely invested. Prythian, here I come! 🥀✨ Headline: I Finally Understand the ACOTAR Hype! 🥀✨

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I liked the story, just not always Feyre.

This was good, but I couldn’t stand how in some parts throughout the book Feyre was so inconsistent with how she was in the beginning. Such as how in the beginning she’s all terrified and knows that she’s just a weak human compared to the Fae, but then later on she’s all brave, courageous and stubborn and stupid even though nothing really changed. And especially not physically, she wasn’t physically stronger, she didn’t train and she couldn’t hold her own against the Fae, she was just a nuisance in reality. And I know she does it for love, but still WAY too inconsistent and unrealistic IMO! It just made me shake my head in annoyance. I can’t stand books that play into that, especially making a woman that stupid. And I’m not talking about the reading illiteracy either. But anyway on a more positive note, I did like that it was sort of a romantasy take on ‘Beauty and the beast’ sort of retelling. That’s always been one of my favorite movies since childhood so I loved that aspect! The characters are great so far. But I’m kind of crossing my fingers on that one though, because I’ve heard so many mixed reviews on how the characters kind of flip the script and you go between almost hating to loving them. I felt that way about Lucien at very first and especially toward Rhysand or however you spell his name. But by the end of this book Rhysand wasn’t so bad, I’m actually super interested to see how that character relationship works/plays out! The author ended on such a good note, I’m so tempted to listen to book 2 right now, and it’s like 4am. Lol. 4 stars was appropriate. I only took one star away because of how I felt towards Feyre and her inconsistencies. I really can’t stand that big of jumps when it comes to character personalities. But that’s obvious by now. Lol good book though, excited to read more!
