I needed a second meter and when I looked around it seemed like the Truetrack strips for the Truetrack meter had disappeared from the market. So, instead of getting another Truetrack meter I went with this Truebalance meter. Lots of low cost strips available for this.Works basically the same way. Same strip procedure. Audible beep when the strip has enough blood. Reasonably fast results. I don't use the log book or the memory.Two new things. With Truetrack strips you got a vial of strips and a little code thingy you had to insert in the meter. The code thingy had to match the code built into the strip. Don't know why. Anyway, these strips have no coding thingy and so you don't have to fool with that. Second, the kit comes with a small vial of control solution. You put a drop of that solution, (which has a known glucose concentration), on a strip to test that the meter is working within proper range. That's not a new concept, but I've never before gotten a "free" vial of solution as part of a kit. That's usually something you have to buy separately.So, it works; it's convenient; strips are readily available; test solution is included. That worked for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works fine, great price *by W***Z on May 15, 2017* Seems to work well. I have no complaints so far. Price is right!!!! It is easy to read and easy to use. The strips go in quite readily and they are EZ fill labeled and I found that they are actually easy to fill. LOL The strips and made her a very economical and I have found them to be extremely accurate. I am quite pleased with this product.
