First off, the handles are gorgeous. My colors appeared slightly less neon than in the pictures, but that's okay with me. Just a note, they aren't colored plastic or whatever, they are hollow shells filled with some sort of sparkly dyed sand. Either way, they are beautiful, and I love them. Second, they work really well, and are perfect for fine detailed nail art. While I have not used all of the brushes yet, I have used the two smallest ones, and they have done the fine detailed work I wanted beautifully. The metal ends are also perfect for making small dots, and for wiping off little bits of nail polish that go where you don't want them.
