Review: Great improvement from original cork gaskets - Replaced the valve cover gaskets on my 82 Corvette with these. They worked great. No leaks so far. It was a chore to get all of the stuff out of the way to get the valve covers off. I recommended replacing the valve cover bolts with studs to make it easier to install the gaskets. The studs will hold the gaskets in place so you can put the valve covers back on. No adhesive necessary. These gaskets are a great improvement from the original cork gaskets. Great material and design.
Review: Sbc 350 works good - These are very nice sbc 350 valve cover gaskets nice rubber. Has metal parts in it for bolt holes so u cant over tighten also. Highly recommend.

These are very nice sbc 350 valve cover gaskets nice rubber. Has metal parts in it for bolt holes so u cant over tighten also. Highly recommend.

These are great gaskets. I like the metal the screws go through so you don't over tighten the gasket and push it out creating a leak. They fit perfectly on the 283 ci. That is in my '63 c10. They are a thick rubber with a metal core so they keep their shape well. The functionality of this gasket being reusable is amazing because I initially put on one valve cover backwards. Being able to remove the valve cover and reinstall it without the gasket ripping or deforming is a great quality.
