Hurrah! : SEE UPDATE ☹️ - I've tried a few dog foods since a Shih Tzu arrived at my house and either he hasn't liked them or they have given him large stinky poos; thankfully I have to say he likes this food and his poos are mostly small and firm so that's all I can ask for! Seems a good food ethically as doesn't contain poultry and other bi-products but also going to try their vegan option when they have it on offer. UPDATE: The last bag I purchased 27th January 2026 I noticed as soon as I opened the bag that it was a much darker colour with a slightly different smell, but I didn't think anything of it until my dog didn't want to eat it; he ate a bit of it last night because I refused to give him anything else because I thought he was just not hungry, but he was very hungry by the evening so he reluctantly ate some, but today he has not touched it, he backs off from it like it's poison and won't take it from my hand or mixed with anything else; he is really hungry and happily eating whatever I have that's suitable for him till I can get some different dog food, it's late evening now and he is hungry but will not eat this kibble. By the way, today his poop was soft and very smelly, not exactly diarrhea but not good! I'm not going to try and make him eat any more, he is right to not eat it, he's not being fussy, I do not know what's gone wrong with this food, but now I have to search for a different dog food. The most recent bag I purchased like all of the previous ones have been from desertcart and not a third party seller, just to be clear I've not had any problems before until this most recent purchase and I'm sorry I haven't got the batch number or date on the bag except 2027, because I discarded the bag and it's gone now as the bins were emptied; I decant the food into a dog food storage box. Review: Fussy Shepherd - Excellent dog food! I have a German Shepherd that is allergic to everything under the sun and this food really agrees with him. A bit pricey but well worth it! ## Features - Warning:Not suitable for children under 3 years. For use under adult supervision - Dry dog food made with fresh, protein-rich salmon? Always. Fish meal? Never. - Natural fruits, veggies, and herbs? Check, check, and check - Hypoallergenic dog food recipe? Of course - S, M and L sizes? You got it - We’ll even add a perfect fibre balance that makes tummies say Ahhhh ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07H8K5R8W | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Age range (description) | Adult | | Allergen Information | Allergen-Free | | Animal Food Diet Type | Limited Ingredient | | Animal Food Ingredient Claim | Organic | | Animal Food Nutrient Content Claim | High Protein | | Benefits | Aids digestion, boosts immune system, hypoallergenic, gluten-free | | Best Sellers Rank | 843 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) 66 in Dry Dog Food | | Brand | Edgard & Cooper | | Brand Name | Edgard & Cooper | | Breed Recommendation | All Breed Sizes | | Container Type | Bag | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 1,319 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | Large | | Flavour | Salmon | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05425039485058, 05425039485515 | | Included Components | Edgard & Cooper Natural Dry Adult Dog Food - 2.5kg - Salmon | | Item Form | Granule | | Item Type Name | Edgard & Cooper Natural Dry Adult Dog Food - 2.5kg - Salmon | | Item Weight | 2.5 Kilograms | | Item form | Granule | | Manufacturer | Edgard & Cooper | | Manufacturer Part Number | 5425039485058 | | Model Number | UKDogDryAdultSalmon2.5kg | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | maintenance | | Package Size Name | 2.5 kg | | Pet Type | Dog | | Recommended Uses For Product | Dog food | | Special Features | Natural, Hypoallergenic, Grain-Free, Pre-Biotics for Easy Digestion | | Special Ingredients | Fresh salmon, Apples, Mango | | Special ingredients | Fresh salmon, Apples, Mango | | Specific Uses For Product | Stomach | | Specific uses for product | Stomach | | Target Species | Dog | | Unit Count | 2500.0 gram | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** Adult - **Brand:** Edgard & Cooper - **Flavour:** Salmon - **Item form:** Granule - **Specific uses for product:** Stomach ## Images ![Edgard Cooper Grain Free Dog Food Dry, (Salmon 2,5kg), Natural Kibble Dry Dog Food for Adult Dogs, Fresh Meat, Hypoallergenic, Gluten-Free, Rich in Amino Acids - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51gwJHoMnBL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Flavor** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Are there different Kibble Sizes?** A: Our Kibble comes in two sizes. Our regular kibble (recommended for small to medium breeds) is in our 2.5kg and 7kg. Our big kibble (recommended for large breeds) is only found in our 12kg bags. **Q: What is ‘Real Food’?** A: We consider ‘real food’ to be free from 'meat meal' and other artificial nasties! Meat meal is made by rendering meat and all sorts of other animal remains at high temperatures and pressure to turn it into a brown, dry powder. Yuck! **Q: What do we do differently?** A: Our food is made using real ingredients, with names you can pronounce. Packed with real meat and vegetables and transported in refrigerated trucks, keeping them super fresh without the need for processing and preservatives. **Q: What is our ‘Zero Pawprint Plan’?** A: We’re a B Corp on a mission to become the most sustainable pet food company! Our packaging is fully recyclable, all ingredients in our recipes are scored on their carbon footprint, and our meat is sourced according to our animal welfare policy. **Q: Which recipes are suitable for neutered dogs ?** A: Our complete range is suitable for neutered dogs. Please note that neutered dogs have a reduced energy requirement. This means that you can reduce the recommended daily quantities on our packaging by 10%. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's a keeper!
