But sometimes quality means more $-I had to use 3 boxes for my first time color. My hair is medium-long length and medium thickness. Not cheap to buy 3 boxes!-the color is MUCH MUCH darker than anticipated. I posted pictures of my hair before and after. In no way is my after color dark blonde, or even close to the color advertised on the box. Also, in the sun it's almost auburn/reddish purple.
