Ellen intersperses the book with scriptures, and I believe she does a magnificent job of writing a book on a subject that the Bible does not discuss in great depth, without going over the edge. In other books that start in descriptions of, and discourses with God and Jesus I have felt that all conversations were lacking and seemed highly theological. Ellen brings a sense of holiness, tenderness, and beautiful reverence that I have never read before when talking about the Father and The Son. There is not much more that I can discuss without spoiling the story. I give this five stars because not only was it a great story-line, but it delved into the parts of the Bible that were present and brought more of the writers imagination into the story line. Also, reading this book left me hungry in my relationship with the Lord.
