They say cut them a couple inches below, but again I went long on my boots and my sneakers. I acquired a new pair of sneaker boots. They had the typical eyelets with hooks for lacing. They came with the flat slippery laces you'd expect on dress shoes. They would neither stay tied nor remain in the hooks. I ordered these laces because I was ready to ditch the shoes. I would have liked directions and maybe a few tips.
