They are American made, well finished, and very tight and precise; not at all like the sloppy `nut-rounders' that I've had in the past. The finish is a grippy, media blast that is very attractive, and won't flake off like polished chrome, or look horrible after a couple of uses like the clear coat on some other brands (Channellock to name one.) They also have etched gradations on the jaws to get you in the ballpark when it comes to fastener size. It may be gimmicky, but I do find myself using it. Of the set, the six-inch sees the most use; pretty much replacing most of my wrenches up to about 9/16", and it sure beats the pocket full of metric and SAE wrenches that I used to carry around. My next purchase will have to be the four-incher.
