It was the 4X Zoom I really needed. However, I just received this camera and nowhere in the user manual does it have anything about 4X Zoom. I had sent an email to WIMIUS and to date have had no reply. I will be returning the camera. ***Up date to this review***. WiMiUS did reply to my email, although it's not mentioned in the user manual, the camera does have a zoom function, long press on the up/down buttons will zoom in & out. I bought it to replace an older camera I lost. The image quality is outstanding and the touchscreen is a nice touch (pardon the pun). The included accessory kit is amazing, I still don't know how to use half of the mounts. It seems that the kit alone is worth the purchase price. I haven't had a need to swap the battery to extend the runtime, but it is a nice reassurance to have it available.I wish their specs would make it clear that the zoom function is digital.
