**Q: Are the zippers metal or plastic?**
A: The zippers are plastic.

**Q: Is the non-mesh side pocket waterproof?**
A: No, you'll still want a dry bag

**Q: does the mesh have a PU or other coating?**
A: I think it does but I will check for sure next week.  I use the bags to transport pool equipment in my pool program.

**Q: How many liters?**
A: I'm not sure of the specific volume.  It's a lot.  Can easily hold a full set of scuba gear for one person.  Had more than enough room for two people's fins, masks, snorkels, towels, sunscreen, dive computersz etc...
