Also, I don't know if the charging circuitry in the device could handle batteries of different mAh capacity than what it came with. This is relatively high current device - can go up to 8amps+ if loaded. Another battery pack I tried could not supply the current. The wires in this pack are close in gauge to the motor wires. Red light on charger blinks when connected to power, steady red when charging, goes out when charged. Seems to pull between .5-1 amp from the USB port. Worked great to remove a transmission pan and put back about 15 small bolts. Usually these get tossed because there are no official replacements, but there is nothing that low profile so worth saving, and they are over $100. The old batteries I believe were 1000mah, so I guess these should double the runtime.
