Organic Lard is perfect for sautéing, baking, deep frying or any other type of cooking up to 370°. Kettle-rendered from non-GMO fed, organically raised, non-GMO fed pork fat. Our animal production standards: Only certified organic, non-GMO feed used -- No animal by-products are ever used in our feed -- Raised in open barns with abundant access to the outdoors -- Raised with ample bedding -- No gestation crates or farrowing crates are ever used -- Raised without antibiotics or growth promotants such as ractopamine -- Animal welfare is always a high priority on our farms, during transport and at the harvest facility -- Independently audited and certified (Certified Organic by Oregon Tilth)
