My existing pair of slippers are fairly light, but the soles as you can imagine are pretty thick since they’re actually a pair of walking shoes. So while they serve pretty well as slippers (being light and all), they aren’t exactly couch friendly. So I find these and ordered them in gray. They look great, they’re light, have breathable fabric and almost feel like a pair of socks. The soles are pretty thin, but that’s what I was looking for. They even have removable insoles that I can throw in to the wash when they become… you know… dirty. :) I’ll provide an update after a couple of months to comment on how durable they are with daily usage. Other than that, like everyone else mentioned here in the comments section, I’d order a whole size down as they run large, kinda like Converse All-Stars low top sneakers. Other than that, I’m loving them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable, lightweight, great alternative to traditional water shoes *by C***U on May 2, 2018* I purchased these water socks for use primarily in the ocean and at water parks. Now, they haven’t had much wear yet so I can’t comment on how they hold up or how they work in the water, but here are my observations so far:They fit very true to size. I wear a 10-10.5. I purchased the 9-10 size because I didn’t want them flapping around in the water. They fit exactly as I expected them too, snug but not tight. They are lightweight and you stop noticing that you’re wearing them after a while. The sole is comfortable and has good traction. These seem to be a GREAT option to traditional water shoes. The only “con” is that they don’t fold up and stay folded as other reviews kind of suggested. But they are still super easy to pack. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ These are a great item to have if you’re traveling *by M***K on April 22, 2018* These are a great item to have if you’re traveling. You can wear them on flights, beaches, anywhere you don’t want big heavy shoes... you can put these in your pocket or bag and won’t feel any weight. They are larger than expected. I wear a size 12 and ordered 11.5 and they were still large. I would order 1 size smaller than your normal shoe size since they are just skins for your feet. They stretch too which makes it feel large. I suggest they add some padding around the toes and heels so it feels better quality. My heels can slip around the back of the stretchy shoe. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/122962540-jjyee-water-shoes-for-women-and-men-barefoot-quick-dry](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/122962540-jjyee-water-shoes-for-women-and-men-barefoot-quick-dry) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
