Very easy to use. Just pull back the fabric where it has a pic of a light, pull the plastic cord, and push the button on the light pic. and vaalaa !!! They do light up in the dark! I got a set to jog at night time, and an extra set to put in the car for emergencies, too....just in case. I ordered blue and pink. These r the blue ones. The pink ones should be here any day now. I'll do a video and review on them also, when they come. I have been caught in a lot of random rainstorms and they are still going strong. I will say, I am on the smaller side and I have them tightened pretty much as far as they can go and they are still a bit loose. It doesn't bother me moving on my ankle but I have to keep my one arm kinda bent when I run otherwise it slides down. It comes with extra batteries which is a nice plus, but I've had them for several months now and haven't needed to change out the batteries.
