Review: Great STOCK replacement springs - Fit perfectly on my wife's grand cherokee, recommended for sure! Ride was choppy first week or so, the settled and handed so much better. Had 215k miles on the original set!
Review: I'm terrible at taking pictures - Keeping in mind that these things are always going to vary from situation to situation.. my feelings are a bit mixed. 93 ZJ - 5.2L V8 (Only worth noting the engine size because of the weight increase over the 4.0 - though to be fair, I'm guessing on that one) I bought these with the 'matching' CC782's for the front along with the Rubicon Express RE8030 2" budget boost. I'm terrible at taking pictures, but when I got the rear springs out and set them next to these (CC721) springs, I thought for sure I'd bought the wrong springs. Visually, the CC721's were a good 3-4 inches taller. Granted, I don't think the previous owner EVER replaced.. well, anything.. so I can accept a certain amount of sag, though without any load on them, I'd have thought they'd come back up relatively close to their original height (the wear'n tear being more the 'springy' ness and/or the ability to hold the intended load), but this was a very stark difference. I didn't bother putting the spacers in, and its a good thing I didn't (part of me wonders of the previous guy tried to lower the darn thing). Between these and the shocks that came with the budget boost, its a bloody rough ride. But the bigger problem that I've run into is that the "matching" fronts didn't match the spring perch - the top and bottom portion of the springs have the same (for lack of a better word) taper, like they were meant to be seated IN something at one end. Ended up sending the fronts back, and installing the spacers on the springs I had just to get the ride height to be the same.. now I'm left wondering exactly what the ride height is and/or was supposed to be... When all's said and done, I'm not sure these are the "right" springs for the ZJ - or at least MY ZJ... They fit easily enough, but on a level surface, the tighter portion of the 'variable rate' springs is almost completely compressed. Maybe my understanding is wrong, but I would think that in order for the 'variable' portion to be effective, there'd need to be room for them to compress, which is why I'm not so sure about them being right - at least from a load perspective. Could be worse I guess.. just seems like the load rating for these IS the weight of the rear end of the jeep.. not the rear end AND some amount like you'd think. Which means that the 'lift' I'm seeing is mostly in the less compressed portion of the variable rate and the more compressed portion is acting more or less like a set of spacers... 4 stars for fairly inexpensive springs doing more or less what they're supposed to - though, buyer beware, watch the road, these ain't a soft ride. You might find yourself bouncing off an embankment :)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm terrible at taking pictures

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stock replacement parts but they are progressive wound
*by A***R on July 28, 2020*

I needed stock replacement springs as my Grand Cherokee has 333k miles on it and the springs has sag in a big way. THese replacements fit the stock situation but because they are progressive (wound in a tighter spiral at the top of the spring) they have great soft ride for normal driving but have a greater spring rate when the springs compress to the top half of their travel. Nice ride and improved control overall. Highly recommended.
