The BRDM-1 (Bronirovannaya Razvedyvatelnaya Dozornaya Mashina) 'Armored reconnaissance/patrol vehicle' was an amphibious armored scout car used by Russia and the former Soviet Union. Kit has well defined raised and engraved surface features, all-around leaf-spring suspension, detailed driveline with optional raised or lowered auxiliary wheels (rubber tires), (x2) 7.62 mm machine guns with ammo boxes, optional position crew hatches, braided wire tow cable, cord for spooled cable, separate on-vehicle tools and other filigree accents, optional position bow splashguard, clear parts (vision ports and lights), photo etch (guns and ammo boxes, hatches and other exterior accents). Decals and 5-view color painting reference for (5) vehicle schemes.
