Review: 24 hp plenty of power - Bought to replace an older 22 hp that died. Easy swap out. Runs great, plenty of power.
Review: Great engine. - This engine has been an absolute work horse for me. I mounted it on a swisher trail mower and I put it through its paces over the last couple of mowing seasons. It has yet to let me down. Worth every penny. I had to alter the pull behind mower a bit for the new engine but once that was done it bolted right up and fired up pretty much instantly. If needing a new mower engine you can’t go wrong.

A: Good luck i had to build my own.

**Q: I don't see the shaft size? i have a gravely 260z model number 992046. powered by a kawasaki fh721vb50325 with 1 1/8 shaft. is this my best selection?**
A: No it has a 1" shaft and the starter is different it require adding a starting solenoid to the mower, and put the 2.5 quarts of oil and changed after the first hour cause it looked like silver paint.

**Q: Will this replace a 24hp kawasaki fr730v?**
A: You can use it but the wireing harness is definitely different plus shaft size coming down see if it fit’s the clutch ?

Great so far. I replaced the engine on my Scag Freedom Z in about 1 hr. Old engine was 2007 S&B 26hp with 840 hrs. All plugs and wires matched perfectly.
